1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 cups confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin
1 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. orange extract (optional-I left it out)
- In a food processor, blend cream cheese and confectioners sugar until smooth. Remove cover, add pumpkin and remaining ingredients. Blend thoroughly.
- Chill 30 minutes or until read to serve. Serve with Gramma Rose's Soft Molasses Sugar Cookies, or a spice cookie of your choosing.

* Looks really festive when served in a carved out mini pumpkin like in the picture above. I placed a small plastic container in the pumpkin to hold the dip.
